Hobbyhorsestal Maaike’s covered arena hosts a relaxed summer concours ideal for riders new to competition but still offering challenge classes up to 80 cm. A clear-round format (no eliminations) lets entrants repeat the course to improve scores within a five-minute window. Judges note style, line choice and rhythm; fastest clear wins, but artistic points can flip rankings. Between rounds, a mobile saddle-cloth workshop laser-cuts vinyl start-numbers while visitors sample Drenthe stroopcake. Entry €11 per round, spectator entry €4 (includes coffee). On-site parking for vans and pop-up stalls for local craft vendors open from 11:00.
