Bentwoud’s grass gallop becomes a pop-up arena with two carpeted rings and a 200 m cross-loop through young woodland. Timetable: dressage tests at 13:00, 40 cm and 60 cm jumping from 14:30, barrel dash at 16:00, prize-giving 17:15. The organising crew supplies electronic timing and numbered bibs; loan hobbyhorses (hardwood core, fleece heads) rent for €3. Entry €12 for first class, €5 for extras. Podium garlands feature locally grown dahlias; every finisher receives a bent-grass rosette dyed in pastel sunset shades. Spectators picnic along the loop, encouraged to keep noise high for a festival vibe.
