Ryzáček’s sand arena hosts a pure-trail competition focused on footwork precision rather than speed. The course blends slalom poles, bridge walks, step-overs and gate tasks; rails stay fixed at 25 cm so concentration, not height, decides placings. Electronic timing starts when the whistle blows and stops as soon as the bell sounds at the finish hoop. Competitors may complete two practice laps before the judged round. A pop-up café offers region-grown berry smoothies and sourdough pastries, and the centre’s physiotherapists give free stretching demos tailored for hobbyhorse athletes.
