The American Hobby Horse Series at Tryon International Equestrian Center is a free event that brings the sport of hobby horsing to a wider audience. Participants, divided into age and height divisions, navigate a course of jumps with their hobby horses, aiming for the fastest time with the fewest faults. Ribbons are awarded to top performers, and special awards are given on select dates. Pre-registration is required, and the event welcomes homemade hobby horses.
