Date: 28 June 2025
Venue: Sporthalle Hofstätten, Roggwil (BE)
Organiser: Hobby Horsing Switzerland / Royal Horses

Switzerland’s indoor Royal Cup emphasises technical mastery: the morning timetable alternates 40–100 cm timed jumping with two-phase combinations, while afternoon dressage Kür classes run on a compact 7×14 m rectangle—perfect for spectators who ring the arena only metres from the action. A popularity-boosting highlight is the three-level “Mächtigkeitsspringen” high-jump that starts at 50 cm and climbs until one rider clears the final 110 cm plank. Between rounds, visitors browse artisan stands selling felt bridles, Swiss-wool manes and Appenzeller chocolate horseshoes. Entry closes 7 June; overnight camper spots can be booked through the local tourist office.
