France crowns its champions on a purpose-laid sand arena at Parc Pereire overlooking the bay. Day 1 covers dressage Préliminaire and two heights of show-jumping; Day 2 brings a 60 m derby track weaving around pine trees plus an evening freestyle gala under festoon lights. The organising committee provides loan helmets and French-flag batons for the celebratory lap of honour. Medals are ocean-blue acrylic framed in reclaimed maritime rope, echoing Arcachon’s seafaring heritage. Entry numbers are capped at 180; online registration opens 15 May and usually sells out within 72 hours.
