🇩🇪 1st Hobby Horse Turnier Wattenscheid

The Ruhr region’s maiden hobbyhorse meet takes over Wattenscheid’s sand arena from 08:00 to 18:00. Classes span light and medium dressage, 30–80 cm show-jumping, a barrel dash and an after-lunch relay that pairs parent-and-child teams for pure fun. Spectators browse a mini-expo of German hobbyhorse makers, sample vegan bratwurst and vote in a “Crowd-Fave Hobbyhorse” beauty contest. Pony rides for tots run beside the main ring, keeping real equines strictly separate from the hobbyhorsing action. All profits finance new rubber landing mats for the club’s youth section; prizewinners receive locally laser-cut beech medals.
